Rice Krispie Squares

The first recipe all my students made this year was Rice Krispie Squares.  All the squares turned out to be very good and eveyone enjoyed making and eating their creations.

Rice Krispie Squares
Ingredients:
½ tsp. vanilla
¼ cup butter
32 large marshmallows
4 cups Rice Krispies

Directions:
Melt butter and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted.  Remove from heat and mix in vanilla. Add Rice Krispies and stir until cooled.  Press into greased 8" x 8" pan.  Cool and cut into squares.
