Make a Meal at Home

The PAA 9 and Foods 10 classes have started thinking about a meal they would to prepare for their families. It looks like a lot of families are in for a very enjoyable meal.

Here are the intructions and the rubric.

Make a Meal at Home
Plan a dinner menu that includes a protein (meat or alternative), a salad and/or vegetable(s), and a carbohydrate (potato, rice or bread). The foods chosen should not be quick, convenience foods, but foods that are bought fresh and prepared. The assignment will be completed as a blog.

Part I - Preparation
You must select and copy three recipes of your choice. You can use the internet, my blog - leboldusfoods2.blogspot.com, cookbooks and/or family recipes to gather your recipes.  The list of ingredients and all of the directions are to be listed in the recipes submitted.  The three recipes must be initialled by Mrs. Gelowitz by the end of the period, Wednesday, November 16.  Save these recipes on your blog.

When completing this assignment you can use video, photographs or the written word or a combination of all three.
